Touchstone Pictures and Summit Entertainment

'STEP UP: REVOLUTION', Dance, Dance, Boom!

[Review] 'STEP UP: REVOLUTION', Dance, Dance, Boom!Touchstone Pictures and Summit Entertainment was initially not so confident with the STEP UP franchise that began in 2006.

But with a budget of Rp 133 billion, a movie starring Channing Tatum and Jenna couples Council proved a great success by winning the $ 1 trillion in circulation. So no wonder every two years later came the sequel with a satisfactory income as well as praise from critics.

This summer the fourth series has been released with subtitles REVOLUTION. Just like a revolution, which originally had the title of the movie STEP UP is a remodeled 4ever here and there.

Highlight the story of Emily (Kathryn McCormick), the son of a wealthy businessman who went to Miami with dreams of becoming a professional dancer. Once there, he became acquainted with Sean (Ryan Guzman) dance crew leader and then fall in love. Because of Sean, Emily knows what it means to live and pursue a dream actually. Vice versa.

Unfortunately, their love of travel was not as smooth. Apart from having to try to make his father (Peter Gallagher) believe in the ideals of a dancer, she also had to help Sean eviction attempt foiled his father's business location by using their dance skills. Did it work?

In terms of story is nothing new to offer. Very typical of most dance flick. But it touched on some aspects of dance and, this installment serve a different formula. If you've been following this latest dance series from the beginning, may lose some distinctive features. But trust me STEP UP always know what they want from a dance movie.

Amanda Brody as playwright gives freshness in this fourth series. Rather than trying to repeat the dance battle and mix and match two different dances for the sake of competition, STEP UP: REVOLUTION rely on flash mob to protest against government's decision to go around.

Even with Scott Speer who had directed one episode web series THE LEGION Extraordinary Dancers. The man was successfully produced a display that has choreographed dance ciamik with exceptional cinematography and lighting to be able to anesthetize the eye.

Some of the dance scene that continues in effect be able to look energetic, beautiful and fascinating. This is in synergy with the soundtrack from renowned musicians such as Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez to Justin Bieber.

Then dance, dance, dance, BOOM! Acting was not too special player. But this is a must watch movie for those who like dance genre. Enjoy dancing to a dance that will make your feet and hands to move to follow the rhythm.
